Master Course on Pelvic Fractures, Revision of Hip & Knee Replacements
Dear Colleague,
Ever since the first AO course ever in India held in Chennai in the year 1977 India has kept abreast with the advancements in the west in the field of Orthopaedics. Recently, with the huge spurt of economic growth we have started seeing a pattern of injuries consistent with a developed society. The treatment of pelvic fractures is a complex and challenging area which is not clearly understood. Further, with the increasing number of joint replacements being done year on year, we are now noticing a surge in the revision hip and knee arthroplasty cases. The IGOF masters’ course in pelvic fractures and revision joint arthroplasty aims to address these issues. An international faculty along with Indian counterparts will give lectures and perform live surgery on 12th and 13th of March, 2011. I invite all of you to MIOT Hospitals, Chennai, for what promises to be a feast in the field of trauma and orthopaedics.
